Research, both business and user, was the primary focus of this project.
We needed to first understand the product nature, branding strategy, company history, culture and business model. We then researched pizza consumers in general and Little Caesar customers in particular to understand their pain points and brand preferences.
After this we performed multiple forms of research and several onsite visits to understand user motivations and client constraints.
All this helped us design a solution for enhancing user engagement which would work within the client’s IT Infrastructure limitations.
To understand the customers and their needs, we first needed to understand the business and the customer needs. We researched to better understand Little Caesar's business and operating model. We also gathered information on the client's values and their history.
Once we obtained insight on Little Caesar's business model and their customer base, we performed competitive analysis by comparing them to other pizza chains such as Dominos, Round Table and Pizza Hut.
To understand our users we first performed site visits to 4 different locations across Bay Area. We observed store locations, average time spent by customers in store, menu offered and the technology and devices used by stores and customers respectively.
We interviewed Little Caesar customers in specific and also other pizza consumers. We also created survey to understand patterns and eating habits in relation to pizza consumption.
